PU coated 1.9 oz(70D) ripstop nylon. This fabric has a PU (polyurethane) coating on the backside and DWR (Durable Water Repellent) front to make it waterproof.
This fabric is also treated with both a UV inhibitor and FR coating, making it resistant to color fading and fire retardant.
Lastly, our PU coating uses a non-hydrolyzing, polyether base as opposed to the more common and less robust polyester base found in cheaper fabrics. This means the fabric stays waterproof longer over time when exposed to the elements.
Great for projects such as tarps, covers, ponchos, tents, or any application requiring a midweight, relatively durable waterproof fabric.
